WHICH VERSIONS OF CINEMA4D ARE COMPATIBLE?
The plugin has been tested and works from version R23 to R26. If you notice any problem please contact us here, we will be happy to help you and improve our tool.
HOW CAN I GENERATE METADATAS FOR EACH NFT IN SEPARATE JSON FILES?
It's very simple, just uncheck the "Merged json" box.
HOW TO RECOVER METADATAS AFTER RANDOMIZATION?
After having pressed the button of generation of the NFTs, it is enough to press the button “Copy JSON result” to have the result of your generation.
THE INSTALLATION OF THE PLUGIN DOES NOT WORK.
Depending on the version of Cinema4D, the plugins are not installed in the same way. Sometimes you have to install it from the preferences folder, accessible in the “edit” menu of the software. Sometimes you have to place it directly in the plugin folder in the application directory. If the problem persists do not hesitate to contact us, we will be happy to help you.
WHAT DOES THIS PLUGIN HAVE TO DO WITH THE HYPEDKIDS NFT COLLECTION?
This plugin was originally created to generate the HypedKids NFT collection by the HypedKids 3D designer. The collection is coming soon!
HOW TO DEFINE THE PROBABILITY OF OCCURRENCE OF EACH OBJECT?
Place the probability of each object as the FIRST child of each object. Example: The first child of “Purple Hat” would be a neutral with the name “0.5”.
HOW ARE THE PROBABILITIES CALCULATED?
Example: If in the category “Hats” there is “Rare Hat” with a weight of 0.8, “Uncommon Hat” with a weight of 50 and “Common Hat” with a weight of 165. The probability to see “Rare Hat” will be: 0.8/(0.8 + 50 + 165) = 0.0037 so 0.37% chance that a combination has a “Rare Hat”.
CINEMA4D FREEZES AFTER THE MESSAGE "START OF GENERATION, PRESS OK". IS THIS NORMAL?
The algorithm generates unique combinations among millions taking into account the probabilities indicated by the user. This may take some time depending on the power of your machine. Even if the software freezes during the calculation, you have to wait a few seconds. We work every day to improve the efficiency of the algorithm.
HOW TO GENERATE EQUIPROBABLE COMBINATIONS?
You have to put the same weight in each attribute (no matter how many). Now, during the generation, each attribute will have the same percentage of chance to appear. Soon a checkbox will be added to activate or deactivate the “rarity” mode.
WHICH RENDERERS ARE COMPATIBLE?
The plugin does not affect the rendering engine used. It simply creates animation keys on the visibility of the attributes. All renderers are therefore compatible!
HOW TO GENERATE ALL POSSIBLE COMBINATIONS?
To do this, nothing could be easier, just calculate the maximum number of possible combinations with the following calculation: Number of attributes in category A x Number of attributes in category B x Number of attributes in category C x … And enter this number in the input “Number of desired NFTs”.
CAN WE EXCLUDE COMBINATIONS OF NFTS?
Yes of course it is possible to exclude combinations of attributes between different categories of NFTs. You can do this by adding a neutral in the second position named “excluded” (below the weight of the attribute) with children with the syntax “category:attribute”. All attributes listed under “excluded” will never be used in combination with this attribute. More details in this video.
I HAVE THE ERROR "ERROR, AN OBJECT DOES NOT HAVE A PROBABILITY FILLED IN."
This error appears when you have not filled in the rarity of each attribute of each category. You have to fill in the weight/probability of each attribute. You can enter the same number for each attribute if you want an equiprobable generation.
